“We imagined a work to be experienced through sight and listening, in which glass becomes a sensitive threshold rather than a surface.”

David Houncheringer, Encor Studio

Becoming takes shape as an immersive experience in which space, light and sound construct a continuous narrative. Rimadesio’s seventy years define the narrative reference and the living trace of the journey. With Aedes Memoriae by Encor Studio, glass becomes sensitive matter: it filters, reflects, retains traces of time and memory. With R-Paradigm, curated by Juma, images, videos and soundscapes generate a flow that intertwines design, technology and architecture. Two installations, one single journey. To be observed. To be crossed through. The past dialogues with the future. Identity is a continuous becoming.

“Becoming is conceived as a great interplay of contrasts, in which memory and future find a new balance within a single texture. Emotion guides the narrative.”

Paolo Mojoli, Juma

THE INSTALLATION BY ENCOR STUDIO

ENCOR STUDIO

Encor Studio, founded in 2016 by Swiss audiovisual artists Mirko Eremita, David Houncheringer, Manuel Oberholzer and Valerio Spoletini, creates works that combine technology and lo-fi materials, generating experiences in which light, sound and space become protagonists. Their kinetic sculptures, installations and sound visualizations transform perception, making hidden information tangible. The use of mirrors, creative coding, sound waves and water modulates space, inviting new interpretations. Through an approach by subtraction, light, context and matter emerge in works suspended between poetry and concreteness.
